When travelling to Jordan, it’s essential to know the visa requirements for your nationality. A Jordanian visa can be obtained at the airport upon arrival or online before arriving in Jordan.

There are several ways you can get your visa. If you plan to apply for one at the airport, check with your airline, as certain airlines may not allow passengers to enter Jordan without a valid visa.

If you want to get a visa before arriving, there are several websites where you can do so.

You will need an original copy of your passport and two passport-size photos (if applying online). We will also require payment information such as credit card or bank account information.

You can also apply for one at any Jordanian embassy or consulate in your country by providing required documents like proof of identity and travel plans.

If applying at an embassy or consulate, ensure it’s open during regular business hours.

Some do not offer services on weekends or evenings/nights due to traffic congestion during these times!

To get a Jordan visa upon arrival, you need to go to the Jordanian visa counter at the airport in Amman.

  • You can get a visa upon arrival at the airport by paying for it in cash.
  • You can also apply for a visa online before arriving in Jordan. This is how I got my visa, and it was straightforward to do so!
  • If you are arriving by air, you can only get a Jordan visa upon arrival at the airport (unless you have an invitation letter).
  • If you are arriving by land from Israel or Saudi Arabia (or any other Arab country), then getting a Jordanian visa online is your only option.

The Jordan pass is a visa that allows you to enter Jordan many times within a year.

The visa can be used by tourists or business travellers who want to spend time in other countries throughout the region and in Israel and Palestine (West Bank).

You may be eligible for a 1-month tourist multiple-entry visa or a 3-month tourist multiple-entry visa when entering through land borders with Syria, Iraq and Saudi Arabia.

But, these are limited to certain nationalities only: Australian, Canadian and U.S.; British; Irish; Kiwis; South Africans; E.U. citizens; nationals from Albania & Macedonia (FYROM); plus holders of diplomatic passports from those countries listed above – Bahrain, China & Hong Kong SARs (Special Administrative Regions), Greece & Taiwan (Chinese Taipei) plus others issued by embassies worldwide where space permits!

You can also apply for an eVisa online before arriving in Jordan if you prefer not to wait at the border or airport for hours or days.

When applying for a visa on arrival, make sure to have all necessary documents in order before submitting them:

  • Passport (valid with six months remaining)
  • Visa application form filled out and signed by the applicant with two passport photos attached (taken within the last six months)
  • A copy of the flight reservation (if applicable)
